"i've always known you were the one for me. you were it for me," he said, his eyes heavy with longing.
she turned away, letting out a bitter laugh, "really? you sure have a funny way of showing it."
he looked up, trying to keep the tears at bay, "because i know i'm gonna mess it up. i mean, that's all i ever do. and watching you putting up with all my shit, made me realize you deserve way better than what i can offer."
"that's pretty idiotic, Trevor. all i wanted was YOU! i don't care how messed up you are, i'll always choose you. i'll love all your sides including the messed up ones. i love your lame jokes. i love your burnt toasts. i love how raspy your voice is when you’ve just woken up. i love how many times you say sorry when you do something that annoy me even when i told you to stop. i love how your eyes light up every time your favorite song comes on. hell, i could write a book of all the things i love about you. and i don't care what my parents say about you. i don't care that my friends keep telling me you're no good for me. i'll choose you over anyone. still don't get it? want me to say more?" she said, almost out of breath bc it was all almost too much for her.
they stared at each other for what feels like an eternity,
he finally said, "screw it" and kissed her.
he kissed her, telling her what words cannot explain.
and she kissed him back with as much passion, if not more.
